Vazhachal
Vazhachal is a
speeding up channel in the Chalakkudy River. This waterfall is located very
close to the Athirappally waterfalls, and just 5 km distance. Vazhachal is
popular for its flora and herbal plantation maintained by the forest
department.
This is an
ideal picnic spot. This waterfall is picturesque one. The dazzling waterfalls
set in the backdrop of lush green forest. It is an amazing view to our eyes and
gives pleasure to our mind. The walking of the vazhachal riverside rock is
dangers, it’s very slippery rock. Too much accident is reported here.
The Chapra waterfall
is also near to Athirappally. It is located just 1.5 km from Athirappally
waterfalls.
